The Association for the Development of Gynecology and Perinatology – is the leading professional organisation in the field of women's health in Azerbaijan, which has been functioning since 2012. The main goal of the organisation is to expand research in the field of gynaecology and perinatology, as well as to assist in finding solutions to various problems related to maternal and child health.
The main areas of work of the Association in support of the development of gynaecology and perinatology include:
- organising seminars for doctors and residents;
- preparation and organisation of regional and international conferences on various topics;
- educational work with the population;
- initiating meetings on reproductive health issues in Azerbaijan.
In addition, the Association actively cooperates with international organisations. It is a member of the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FIGO).
Memorandum of co-operation with the "Scientific Publications"
Baku Eurasian University and "Scientific Publications" signed a memorandum aimed at strengthening co-operation in the field of education and science.
The document provides for:
- development of partnership in the field of education, scientific research and scientometrics;
- exchange of data on scientific initiatives and projects;
- holding joint seminars, conferences, webinars, as well as educational programmes and courses of mutual interest;
- creation of web resources, scientific projects and centres;
- providing advice and information support in the preparation and publication of scientific articles, including their placement in international scientific databases.
